From 2005
The PUB logo was last revised in 2005 to embody a vision and mission to provide “Water for All”, and call on all Singaporeans to play their part to use water wisely.
From 2001
In 2001, recognising that Singapore’s water catchment and supply systems, drainage systems, water reclamation plants, and sewerage systems are part of a comprehensive water cycle, the PUB was reconstituted to become Singapore’s national water authority, overseeing the entire water loop. The sewerage and drainage departments from the then Ministry of the Environment were transferred to PUB. The regulation of electricity and gas industries, formerly undertaken by the PUB, was also transferred to a new statutory board, the Energy Market Authority (EMA). With the reconstitution, the Public Utilities Board was henceforth known as
PUB, Singapore’s National Water Agency.
From 1976
The logo was redesigned in 1976.
From 1963
The Public Utilities Board (PUB) was set up as a statutory board in 1963 to coordinate the supply of electricity, piped gas, and water for Singapore. This was the first PUB logo to be used.
