Formed in 2015, FiberSense is a technology company that has found a way of fusing the physical footprint of the internet with a means of detecting and tracking objects and events to provide near seamless total coverage in public spaces across cities. Our current platform has ingested 15 million kilometer-hours of event data in cities over the past 4 years and with recent fund raising events, this is set to exponentially expand around the globe with the creation of seamless smart-city grids enabling a host of exciting applications and services.
In relation to water utilities, FiberSense saves companies money and reduces water loss. We provide applications that detect and mitigate physical threats to water pipe infrastructure, as well as for the detection of leaks, all in real-time and all without the need for the deployment of additional sensors in or around water pipe infrastructure.
