Singapore is vulnerable to the effects of climate change such as rising temperature, rising sea level and more frequent heavy rainfalls. Students, educators and school administrators can all play a role in fighting climate change and building a sustainable future for generations to come.
The SSG School Programmes seek to extend sustainability, character, citizenship education, science, geography and social studies learning beyond the classrooms, enhancing these efforts by providing an authentic and experiential learning platform. The challenge & tasks-centric activities are designed to ignite interest & involvement, enable extension of subject learning, and promote rethinking of possibilities.
